TIG Welder - Second Shift
We are looking for a skilled and certified TIG Welder to fabricate, Weld, polish - light fixture parts with attention to detail for a high quality of finished product.
Second Shift is 4 days per week - Monday to Thursday - 10 hour days
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform seamless welding of our products to a high quality and standard utilizing skills in tig welding of thin gauge aluminum.
- Prepare: debur, polish and set up welding jobs.
- Pay attention to details, fit and finish to ensure high quality of finished product.
- Must be dependable, follow instructions, solicit feedback.
- Maintain work area clean and organized, tools in good working order.
- Respect company resources: raw materials, tools, equipment.
- Willing to help around the machine shop as needed based on workload.
Required experience & qualifications:
- Welding certification.
- Experience TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum.
- Will be required to pass a company welding test.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and Engineering drawings / shop drawings.
Physical Demands
Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds. The ability to stand up to sit or stand at a welding or polishing station a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work fo 2 to 4 hours at a time.
Drug Free Workplace:
We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.
Compensation and benefits:
Pay for this position will depend on related experience and certifications, generally between $26-29 per hour, or higher based on quality.
